Welcome to Bob the Visigoth's Armory

WARNING! AT BOB'S ARMORY YOU WILL FIND ARMOR THAT GLORIFIES THE FEMALE ANATOMY!
So... If you are offended at the sight of nature, please do not download this mod.
Also, please do not email me with any complaints about the explicit nature of this mod, or I will report you to your ISP as a repeat offender, considering this as a first warning.

Every article of clothing in this plug in is armor, mainly because there are enough wonderful clothing mods already out there.
These are, with the exception of 2 items using Silaria's pants texture, all 100% original, new textures created by me.

PLAYING the PLUG IN:
Bob the Visigoth has set up his armory just North West of the Samarys Ancestral Tomb.
Now Bob never had the appropriate disposition to run a shop, and his business quickly died off. He blamed it on his location decision, but the locals knew it was his poor marketing and people skills.
No one has heard from Bob in well over a year, and it has been rumored that his once well furnished armory has been completely plundered. Well, almost.
Spoiler at end of readme.

Many of these items are made to work with each other to create full outfits. I do not have them named so you can tell what goes with what.

Also, to save size (you are going to hate me for this but I am stuck on 56k dial up so I will apologize, but it's just the way it is) All similar items share the same icon. Boots all have the same icon and so on. All items also share the same ground mesh. It says 'generic ground mesh' in Daedric.
While this is an inconvenience until you familiarize yourself with the pieces, it does save nearly 250Mb on size.

The naming system is woefully utilitarian. After going through 6 gigs of content and trying to come up with something decent to release, all of the items' original names have been lost. So instead of 'fishnet boots' there is 'boots 01' for a name.
Again, I know this is an inconvenience, but I firmly believe the quality of the content will far outweigh the Orwellian nomenclature.

These pieces are free to anyone who can reach them. I was just tired of mods where a single item of mediocre value would cost 110,000 drakes.
There are light, medium and heavy versions of everything, all denoted by either no end letter, h or m at the end.
Please, take your time and try everything on with everything. You will be surprised at the vast number of variations.
Every item is set at an armor rating of 50. This is due to the fact that most items are one part of a three piece outfit, although I have managed to make more pieces than that work well together.

CONFLICTS:
I've played well over 1,000 plug ins, and have never seen anything built where I put Bob's Armory, so there should be no geographical issues.
All items have been renamed, so they should not conflict with any custom naming system.
One light was used and renamed. This was to facilitate the ability to actually see what you were putting on.

I've run this mod through TESAME twice, once at the beginning to remove all of the 'edit' tags GenMod places, and a second time just before zipping it for shipment.

CREDITS:
Neuman and the entire Better Bodies team, for making BB in the first place. Without this plug in, I would have grown bored with the horrific models in Morrowind in a month and would have stopped playing it.

NoLiv, for making the great clothing meshes for Better Bodies.

Dereko, for the tank top mesh, at least I believe this is who originally made it.

Silaria, for the fantastic pants texture. You can't see much of it in here because it is covered by armor, but it still adds a great amount of realism to the pieces.

Adobe, for making Photoshop. What a priceless tool it truly is.

DISCREDITS:
Without naming anyone guilty of the following, these are the things that made me learn how to use the TESCS in the first place, just to get rid of the bugs. These are issues I actually found in plug ins available for download.

The person who set a level 100 lock on the CharGen door, making it impossible to create a new character.

The person who erased every single cliff racer and did not mention it in the readme.

The person who wrote a hidden, unmentioned script which caused instant death to the player who used any kind of magic on a magic using opponent. Out of frustration, I toggled God mode and it still happened, even if I missed my target.
And for this person as well, benevolence is kindness. A lich does not spread benevolence, it spreads malevolence. Illiteracy is a sin.

The person who made every living thing in the game an ubermage. Yeah, it's real funny, being attacked by a rat capable of casting 28 fireballs in a row at a first level player. Again, I toggled God mode and counted.
Every rat, cliff racer, orc, skeleton... everything was set to be Godlike in magic.

The person(s) who thought resizing original Bethesda textures to 1024x1024 would make high resolution skins. All this does is make lagging, blurry duplicates of the original textures.

And last but not least, those who edited original lights and did not rename them. Lime green may work for a tomb, but it sure looks bad elsewhere.

*******************
WARNINGS:
I have a few textures which are huge. They had to be, so the Baphoment tattoo I put on the small of the back would show the Daedric writing correctly. I didn't notice any lag from the large textures.

The naming, ground mesh and icon systems are painfully utilitarian and boring.

Bob the Visigoth's shop is nearly empty. This was done for two reasons.
1: It has been plundered.
2: In case anyone wants to use his shop as a house mod, this makes it easier to decorate according to individual tastes.

*******************
USAGE:
Use any way you see fit. Cover up the naked parts, uncover the not naked parts. Be creative. My knee armor can also be used for elbows, and if done correctly, used for shoulder pieces too.

If you want to use any particular part of an item, and do not want to mess with trying to edit dds files, feel free to email me. Just let me know the texture name from which you want parts, and I can send you either the entire PSD file, or just the layer you are after in a 32 bit tga. This will make your editing a lot easier.
Please include 'MW Textures' in the email header so I don't accidentally delete it, as msn is certain to send any inquiries to the junk mail folder, like it does with anything important.

You can contact me at:
totzummrdave@msn.com

Again, please do not email me condemning me for making items which show the naked female anatomy. I do not care one bit for your deep psychological issues, and will report you to your ISP as a repeat offender, regarding this as the first warning.

If you are too low in security skills to pick the lock and disarm the trap, and do not want to end up like the poor sod you see there next to the closet, there is a key. It is not labeled as a key. It does not look like a key. Just look around and read the note.

Enjoy,
